Teen Dramas: Why I watch some of them

It's a well known stereotype that teen girls watch teen dramas on TV and maybe even soap operas. But why do I and some other men watch them? I can't speak for other men, but I can speak for myself. Why I watch them is simple, it's love (sure there's entertainment too but love is reason numero uno). I'll go in to more detail.

It all has to do with love. That feeling of romantic love. When I watch these shows I get to feel the feeling I haven't experience personally in 6 years. I flash back to a time in my life when I was in love and re-experience these moments.

CNN Commentator suspended over PC garbage

If you pay attention to the media, you probably by now know that CNN's Roland Martin has been suspended for what was supposedly an anti-gay tweet. Before we go a step further, here's the tweet:

Interesting documentary

This seems like an interesting documentary by an ex-NAACP leader. I will definitely be checking it out. Hope you will too. Goes hand in hand with my "Is MLK's dream reality?" article.

So this morning I was looking at news room oddities on YouTube and came across this video here. I watched it and as I usually do, I read the comment section. I came across the following comment:

Texas Rangers OF Josh Hamilton was the subject of sports headlines this week but not for reasons he would want. Josh Hamilton admits to relapsing and having several drinks of alcohol this week.

What this teaches us is that the addiction is never truly broken and is always in the back of the affected person's mind waiting to break out. Regardless. The fight to stay sober does not end til the day we pass on. Josh Hamilton is a human being and made a mistake.
